HUGHESVILLE AREA PUBLIC LIBRARY CHILDREN’S PROGRAMMING

WEE TALES– (10:30 – 11:15 AM) Listen to stories, learn nursery rhymes, share books, and play with our collection of toys. This program helps children develop their social skills, fine and gross motor skills, and the language and pre-math skills they will need for school readiness later on. Meets on Monday. Activity is for children 12 months three years and their caregivers. November 4, 18, 25, and December 2, 9, 16.
Registration is appreciated.
WEE MOVE – (10:30 – 11:15 AM) Kids will beg to come back to play with our Wee Move equipment! There are mats, a soft balance beam, basketball hoops, a teeter totter and more! Activity for children ages 1-5. Meets on Tuesdays. November 5, 19, 26 and
December 3, 10, 17. No registration required.
WEE MAKE MUSIC – (10:30 – 11:15 AM) Kids can explore their natural love for rhythm and music in this fun-filled program. The activities involved are aimed to help kid’s socio/emotional, fine and gross motor skills. Activity for children 12 months and up and their caregivers. Meets on Thursdays. November 7, 21 and December 5, 12, 19.
No registration required.
ART WITH AMBER – (10:30 – 11:15 AM) Children are invited to explore age appropriate art material with their caregivers. Activity is for children ages 3 and up.
November 1 and 15 and December 6. Registration is appreciated.
WEE BUILD BLOCK PARTY – (10:30-11:15 AM) A self-directed activity your child ages 3 and up will love. We supply the building materials and you provide the
creativity! November 8 and December 13. No registration required.
WEE EXPLORE – (10:30 – 11:15 AM) Explore Dogs on Friday, November 22 with Miss Kathy! We will hear a story and do related activities. Then, on Friday, December
20 we will learn about and explore holidays! Registration is required.
CHRISTMAS ORNAMENT MAKING – December 7 at 1:00 p.m. All materials are provided for this fun-filled, station based, family activity. Just bring your imagination!
We will be making several different ornaments. Registration is required.
