Policies

Other Pennsylvania residents from outside the county with a library card from their home library with the blue Access PA sticker may apply for a complimentary card which can be used here.

Card holders have access to books and other materials on all subjects. All circulating materials in the
Lycoming County Library System’s six member libraries are available for you to borrow at no cost.

Reserves - Books that are not available at the time you come to look for them may be placed on reserve. Books from other libraries in the county system can also be reserved. We will place your name on the waiting list for popular titles. The book will be held for you and you will
be notified when the book is received.

You may also reserve items through the online catalog.  See librarian for instructions.

Loan Period - Videos and DVDs circulate for two or three days. Other materials circulate for 21 days. Audio Books on CD or cassettes, which are in the Rotating Collection, may be borrowed for only 14 days. Usually, you may borrow an unlimited number of books.

Renewals - Most library materials may be renewed by phone or in person unless someone else is waiting for the item. Renewals can also be made on line using the online catalog.

Video and DVD Policies – A total of four items may be borrowed at one time. You must be 18 years or older to borrow these videos and DVDs. The library is not responsible for any damages that may occur to video equipment while using these videos or DVDs.
